Aba Oyedi

RN, Traditional Midwife

Aba Oyedi is a registered nurse and professionally trained midwife who has been working with families since 2008. Her reverence for indigenous modalities that improve physical, mental, and spiritual balance is central to her work. Currently, Aba lives and serves families in southeastern Pennsylvania but reaches a broader community through her tri-state-based virtual practice that supports birthing women by guiding them through deep shadow integration during pregnancy.

Her practice, Urban Bush: The Living Traditions, centers Whole Woman Wellness, intergenerational holistic health education, and utilizes ritual and psycho-emotional exploration to prepare families for the deeply spiritual work of bringing children into the world.

I began my journey as a Chiropractor at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS. In 2010, I graduated with my Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree, moved to Boulder, Colorado, and opened the doors to Hilltop Chiropractic North. My journey to chiropractic ignited a passion for adjusting and supporting families so they can thrive. I specialize in prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care, with multiple courses with the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association, with a certification in the Webster Technique.

As the first chiropractor in my family, I have had the privilege of inspiring other family members to join this powerful and life-changing profession.

Meredith Klein

CPM, LDM, RN, BSN

My call to midwifery came when I was studying sustainable agriculture at Cornell University and teaching at a cooperative school with many home birth families. I have an interest in women’s health, women’s choice issues, and healthcare that includes individualized care, informed choice, and body autonomy at its core.

I attended the Oregon School of Midwifery from 1996-1998. Twenty-five years and over 900 births later, I still tear up sometimes as I get to witness families meeting their babies for the first time. Most recently, I obtained my RN amidst a global pandemic in 2021 as the first step in reaching my goal of obtaining my Family Nurse Practitioner degree, with the goal of serving Fig Midwifery clients and the greater community.
