The recommended amount for all ages is one dropperful daily.

Will the iron in your formula discolor my teeth?

To prevent staining of the teeth from liquid iron, here are some tips: 

  • Mix the iron with water or juice
  • Use a straw to help keep liquid iron away from your teeth
  • Use a spoon

Iron stains on the teeth are temporary and can usually be removed by brushing with baking soda or medicinal-strength hydrogen peroxide.
